COMPANY OF BIOLOGISTS
To qualify for this agreement, the corresponding author must 1) be affiliated with NDSU (generally current faculty, staff, and students) - usually using your NDSU email will show this, AND 2) have an article accepted for publication during the term of the agreement at a qualifying gold or hybrid open access journal (works that have already been published do not qualify).
This agreement waives the article processing charge (APC) when the article is published in one of the qualifying gold or hybrid open access journals published by Company of Biologists (see below for current gold and hybrid journal titles (subject to change)). Other charges may still apply.
A gold open access journal is one in which only open access articles are published. Current gold OA journals at Company of Biologists: Disease Models & Mechanics, Biology Open
A hybrid open access journal is one in which both open access and traditional articles are published. Current hybrid OA journals at Company of Biologists: Development, Journal of Cell Science, Journal of Experimental Biology).
